Christmas Countdown: For a Cosy Christmas
Hello and welcome to Abode. Today in our Christmas Countdown we are featuring three ways to create a Cosy Christmas for 2018. We have used Pinterest today to source our images, but if you see a style you particularly like, get in touch today using our contact link at the end of our article and see what you can achieve with First 4 Blinds.

We’re not sure exactly why, perhaps it’s their hygge philosophy or their beautiful natural landscapes, but Scandinavian countries have such distinctive Christmas style. It’s cosy, rustic and warm. And with a focus on families and communities coming together, Scandi Style is very soulful. We love the different textures and the colour scheme of the image above, and with all Nordic interior design, layering is essential. Combine blankets and cushions to create a cosy Christmas scene - perfect for enjoying a warm drink on Christmas Eve.

Set the tone and make your home inviting inside and out with some festive string lights. We love these star lights in the image linked above, but any shape would work well. Father Christmas will be sure to land on your roof with windows as pretty as these!
At First 4 Blinds, we think that the easiest way to make a Cosy Christmas is to add sentiment and personality to your decor. Use your favourite colours to base your colour scheme and add some unique ornaments to the tree. Whether you love delicate flowers and soft feathers as seen on the tree in the picture above, or perhaps you love animal ornaments, whatever your unique taste, let your personality shine this Christmas!
We hope you have enjoyed our second instalment of Abode’s Christmas Countdown. We will be back soon as we get nearer to the big day, next time showcasing our favourite alternative Christmas trends for tips on how to do Christmas a bit differently this year…
See you Soon!
