Abode's Christmas Colour Showcase

Good afternoon and welcome to Abode’s Christmas Colour Showcase. Now that the wonderful festive season has begun, it’s the perfect time to celebrate and spend time in your beautiful home. If you feel like Christmas at your house always looks the same, and you want to try a new look for your house, here are a few of our favourite colours that can transform your home this season! Since each of these colours are so versatile, we’ve decided to show you examples the shades by Pantone so that you can imagine your home's interior with these special colours.

TEAL

Although the linked Pantone reference names this colour ‘Biscay Bay’, it can also be described as Teal. It’s a great way to dress up a room to add a sophisticated and mature look to your home at this time of year. It can be paired with auburn or burnt orange for a pop of colour, or even with cream or lighter shades for great contrast. It’s perfect if you’re looking to create a relaxing atmosphere this Christmas…

ROSE QUARTZ PINK

This beautifully feminine colour works well as the central theme of a room or just as a delicate accent colour. It offers an effortless way to soften hard white walls without being too overbearing. A similar shade, Millennial Pink was very popular last year, and even though Christmas tends to call for cosy reds, why not try a softer look this Christmas?

EMERALD GREEN

In our opinion, Abode ’s Christmas Colour Showcase wouldn’t be complete without a feature of this stunning shade of green. Bring glamour, vibrancy and more into your home this season with jewel Emerald Green. We think it looks its best in rich and luxurious fabrics like velvet or satin. So from the tree to the table decorations, this year why not try to incorporate more of this great colour!

And so to conclude our Christmas Colour Showcase this week, we’d like to share a picture we found on Pinterest in the link above. As Christmas is the best time of year to bring everyone together, this photo shows that although our three best colours work brilliantly individually, they are gorgeous when they are all brought together.
