Colour Crush: Fuchsia Pink & Shibori Blue
Hello and welcome to Abode! Today we would like to feature two gorgeous colours to give a pop of personality or some welcomed relaxation to your home decor…
This bright, bold and beautiful colour is perfect for adding a burst of colour to your home. It can be a vibrant exterior colour as it’s energetic and vivid, but it can also work so well inside the house as an accent colour. Fuchsia plants, the hanging pink flowers that can sometimes resemble fairies, look great in the garden and can also make excellent houseplants. We love this colour in combination with touches of earthy green for contrast.
This stunning shade of blue is inspired by ancient Japanese fabric dyeing. It’s a combination of indigo and denim blue to create a soft and soothing colour that can instantly relax a room. We love this colour because it can be styled in many different ways. You could use it in combination with white textiles and dark wooden blinds for a Mediterranean style space. Or you could apply Shibori blue as a luxurious rug or pair of statement curtains to envelope a room in this refreshing, calm colour.
Both of these colours can transform your home whether you choose to add a few small signature pieces or use them to create a whole colour scheme.
