Luxury Style for your Home

Hello and welcome to Abode. Today on our interior design blog we are featuring a few of our favourite cosy trends. So if you're looking to re-style your home this winter, why not consider adding a few touches of luxury to your home...

We have used Pinterest today to source our inspiration images, but if you would like to see any brands or products mentioned in person, why not come to visit our in-store showroom. Our expert team can help you find the best look for your home, and with our free measuring and free fitting service, First 4 Blinds can help make your design dreams a reality.

TARTAN TEXTILES

The first trend we would like to showcase is tartan textiles. Equally popular in fashion and in winter interior design, tartan check provides a unique and decisively British style heralding from the Scottish Highlands. Whether it's used to upholster a statement armchair, as seen in the image above, or in a more subtle way, the great thing about this trend is its versatility and impact.

FABULOUS FAUX FUR

Next on our list is a winter decor staple and the epitome of cosiness - faux fur furnishings. At First 4 Blinds, we think that faux fur accessories are the ideal way to add warmth and luxury to your home. In fact, we can think of nothing better than snuggling into the blanket in the image pictured above. One of the latest arrivals at our Northampton store is a new sample book from Zinc Textile featuring a fabulous selection of faux furs. The 'Husky Collection' comes in a range of textures and colours to complement any style.

SOFT LIGHTING

Candles are a great way to add ambience and luxury to your home. By investing in some ornate candle holders and by choosing a range of different candle sizes as seen in the image above, you can create a beautiful candle display that can be admired even when the candles aren't lit. We particularly like the combination of different glass textures in the picture.

That's all for our luxe inspirations this week, we hope you have enjoyed our article. If you'd like to discover our in-store collections to see if they could revamp your home decor, please don't hesitate to get in touch here: https://www.first4blinds.com/contact-us/.
