Wallpaper Is Making A Repeat for 2019
What a truly glorious Easter Weekend it has been this year! We were truly spoilt with the weather and possibly still now a little red from the sun. How many of you managed a 'Staycation' at home with the family? Beverley and Allen had a delightful weekend with their Grandchildren full of adventures to the coast riding Donkeys (Just the Grandchildren bear in mind!) and then travelling to Victorian villages time forgot. In the midst of our non-stop schedule here, it makes family time all the more precious.
After the bustle of a long weekend, we are having a leaf through our wallpaper sample books. Any excuse for us to take five while having a coffee, giving a little stroke of the papers wishing we could have them all! Homes and Property magazine have written a recent article stating:
"Why 2019 is going to be the year of wallpaper - More specifically, bold print wallpaper which, according to a 2019 trend report by Pinterest has experienced a remarkable resurgence – and a 401 per cent growth in searches..."
"Why 2019 is going to be the year of wallpaper - More specifically, bold print wallpaper which, according to a 2019 trend report by Pinterest has experienced a remarkable resurgence – and a 401 per cent growth in searches..."Not everyone knows that we have got some right bobby dazzling prints in our Northampton Design Studio if you are ready to embrace the big and the bold. Cole & Sons are pretty hot at the moment or maybe one of our newest additions, a gorgeous new collection from Sanderson -'Terrariums'. Here, at First 4 Blinds & Interiors, we do also offer the wallpaper collections that partner their equally lush fabric collections. Just like the Nina Cambell - 'Les Indiennes' which we envisage making a real statement living space like a dining or living room with it's vibrant rich patterns spanning an almost edible palette. See our facebook page for what could be almost called a "Chocolate Lime" affair pairing paisleys and floral patterns together.
Or for the Ecoconcious among you, give our Engblad & Co collections a go. With their European sourced paper from sustainable forestry and entirely water-based production methods, you can be sure to leave a greener future both figuratively for your new home decor, and literally for the Swedish Forests. They also use a feature called 'EasyUp' to make hanging your new wall covering all the cleaner, with very little work to prepare your walls and is again environmentally friendly. No need to scour the internet for ways to use up stodgy old wallpaper paste, unless of course you are a secret paper mache officinado!
So, we are readily swatting up on our math skills ready to discuss pattern repeats and coverage per roll, which we of course are happy to explain and advise how best to maximise your wallpaper.
See you soon, The Team at First 4 Blinds & Interiors x
